Aphrodisiacs are substances - usually foods, herbs or scents - that are believed to trigger an increase in sexual desire and / or enhance sexual awareness, performance or pleasure.

The word Aphrodisiac comes from same root as Aphrodite, Greek Goddess of Love and Passion.
